Ludwig Wurster und die Nurnberger Augustiner zur Reformationszeit

Der Neu-Nürnberger Augustiner Ludwig Wurster, Theologie-Student in Wittenberg, wird aus Glaubensgründen Gerber. Die Mitbrüder übergeben ihr Kloster 1525 an das Almosenamt. Beides macht auf Voraussetzungen der Reformation in Nürnberger aufmerksam: Die Augustiner sind ihr Ideengeber und personeller Träger. Erforscht werden Studienorte, Bildung, Klosterleben, Ansehen bei den Bürgern, Streben nach Reformen, das Ringen um die Legitimität der Existenz als Mönch, Veränderungen im Kloster-Gottesdienst, die mittelalterlichen Stiftungen angesichts des Bettels. Vor und nach der Klosterauflösung betraut der Rat die Mönche mit neuen Aufgaben in Stadt und Land. So zeigen sich bisher nur wenig bekannte Lebenswege, auch dank der Abfindungsurkunden. Ludwig Wursters Reformatoren-Wappen fasst das geistliche Vermächtnis der Zeit zusammen. Birgit Luscher, geb. Wurster, Dr. theol., Jahrgang 1949, studierte von 1969 bis 1974 Evangelische Theologie in Tübingen und Münster. Nach zwei Jahren im Pfarramt wurde sie im Religionsunterricht am Gymnasium an verschiedenen Orten tätig. Daneben entwickelte sie als Autorin Unterrichtsmaterialien. Ihrer Promotion im Fach Systematische Theologie bei Prof. Oswald Bayer, Tübingen, im Jahr 2007 liegt eine Dissertation zum Thema Symbol zugrunde, die sie u.a. in die Reformationszeit geführt hat. Birgit Luscher wohnt im Ruhestand in Stuttgart.
