Gender in Kinderkrippen

What are the gender processes in daycare centers, i.e., in the work with children in the first three years? While there is some research on gender dimensions in day care centers, gender in day care centers is a field of research that has not yet been systematically addressed. This book offers insight into how gender is made relevant in everyday interactions between children, parents, and professionals, what links there are to other lines of difference, and the importance of materials. Perspectives for gender-reflective pedagogy and research are discussed.
